Billy, I wanted you to know you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. We lost Daddy 11/1/11 and I know it's painful. Please give my regards to Mary and Bonney. In Hoc, Brett Hope to see you in Athens this fall

My mother is Jane Brown Lester, and Jane and Jimmy Shuman have been lifetime treasured friends of hers. Jane Wheeler at the time was maid of honor in my parents' wedding at Bull Street Baptist Church on July 4, 1948. I've not known Jimmy well personally, but I've always known through my mother what a wonderful husband and father/grandfather he has always been. He has contributed a great deal of himself to the Savannah community in many ways over the years as well. Stu and I and all of our family and especially my mother send our thoughts and prayers to the Shuman family.
